For recruiters

After the interview (recruiter)

Report cards, candidate notes, advancing to your ATS, and how the post-interview state flows into integrations.

Last updated

The room closes; you land on the report-card form. You complete it within 5 minutes of the interview ending. The candidate sees the candidate-facing slice; your private notes stay internal; the ATS ingests the structured fields if integrated.

The report card

Three required ratings:

  • Fit(1-5) — match against the role's required skills + culture-fit signal.
  • Communication (1-5) — clarity, listening, asking good questions.
  • Technical signal (1-5) — depth on their claimed stack. Skip if non-technical role.

Plus a free-text recruiter-notes field (private, internal only) and a candidate-facing summary (visible to the candidate after you decide). Both are optional but high-value — empty notes correlate with later confusion when teammates pick up the thread.

The decision

One of three:

  • Advance. Drops into your pipeline. ATS sync (if enabled) ingests the structured candidate profile. Candidate gets an email with next-step suggestion.
  • Follow up async. The candidate is interesting but you don't have a clear next step yet. Lands in a holding state visible to your team.
  • Pass. The match closes cleanly. Candidate gets a notification with your candidate-facing summary as feedback. They can't re-match for this specific role for 90 days.

ATS sync

If you've enabled the ATS integration (Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever via Merge), advanced candidates land in your ATS as a new application on the matched role within ~10 seconds of the advance decision. Structured fields included: parsed resume, headline, skills, years- of-experience band, location, comp expectations, your 1-5 ratings, and the recruiter-notes (with a permission flag for whether the ATS receives the notes or not).

Saved candidates

You can mark a candidate as saved without advancing — useful for "not for this role, but I'd hire them tomorrow if X opens". Saved candidates surface in agent searches via jobbydev_candidates_saved_listand aren't visible to other companies.

Re-inviting

For saved candidates and follow-up-async candidates, you can re-invitethem — Jobby.dev fires a notification suggesting they join your next live event. Counts against your team's re-invite quota (50/month on Pro, 250/month on Power Play).

Driving from an agent

  • jobbydev_interview_summary — read back the report card structured fields.
  • jobbydev_candidates_save — save without advancing.
  • jobbydev_candidates_reinvite — re-invite a saved or follow-up candidate.
